Web Developer

Are you?

  • Someone that has experience with content management systems like Joomla or Wordpress
  • Can integrate custom designs into the CMS, add and customize extensions and layouts to produce a functional well designed website.
  • Can customize, understands and writes PHP
  • Experience in using frameworks and code libraries for up to date user experience.
  • Enjoys problem solving and working with code to fulfill client requirements within required timelines and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience with Content Management Systems — installing, implementing and customizing code and graphics for Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal and other CMS solutions.
  • PHP and Code Libraries — must be able to write and modify PHP, preferably with a strong knowledge of major code frameworks and libraries.
  • E-Commerce — understanding of E-Commerce solutions a plus, mainly Magento Commerce, Big Commerce and occasionally Virtuemart.
  • Time Management — able to use time effectively in an unsupervised fashion, using time tracking software to accurately record time spent on various projects.
  • Adaptability — able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected event
  • Proficiency in the following computer languages: — HTML, PHP, JavaScript
  • Problem solving skills — able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully; able to apply independent judgement on
  • Computer Skills — computer proficiency, which includes knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software; strong knowledge of electronic communication sys

Additional Requirements

This is a part time / full time position, all applicants are required to submit portfolios of their work. For the developer position we would like you to tell us your role in any websites you have built. A skills test and or questionnaire will be required to ascertain experience and development level.
